Poland introduces new law:
Convicted paedophiles must be medicated

Poland: mandatory medication of convicted paedophiles becomes law
Polish parliament has approved laws that make medical castration of paedophiles mandatory.
A criminal convicted of rape of a person 15 years old or younger will now have to undergo mandatory medication after he or she finishes his/her prison term. The medication will lower the criminal's urge to commit the crime again. The medication will also be accompanied
by psychological treatment.
The laws have been welcome by many victims of rape and, especially, of paedophile criminals.
